Residents Participate in Friendly Competition

Residents of Quail Haven proudly took part in one of their favorite annual traditions: the Quail Haven Senior Olympic Games. Launched by Liberty Senior Living in 2018 for its independent living communities, the Games are designed to stimulate movement, mental engagement, and meaningful connections among the residents. This year we introduced ALympics for assisted living residents at The Inn at Quail Haven.
Quail Haven’s Olympic Games welcomed two dozen residents who competed in events that included Yarts, shot put and shuffleboard. Leading up to the event the community hosted a special breakfast including fresh muffins and scones. Beyond the competition, the Games foster a strong sense of community as residents participate together and rally in support of one another.
Top competitors advanced to the corporate Liberty Games at Hayes Barton Place in Raleigh in March, where they reconnected with residents from sister communities.
