Quail Haven offers short-term Rehabilitation, ongoing Assisted Care Support and Skilled Nursing in Pinehurst, NC, so you never have to leave your home or all the friends who live nearby. At Quail Haven Village, we believe in hands-on care. Through a special combination of genuine warmth and years of experience, we reach out to families and individuals who need additional services.

Family Care Homes Assisted Living
When living alone is no longer the best choice and a greater level of care becomes a primary focus, Quail Haven Village has a unique approach to meeting those care needs. The assisted living Rosemary and Cardinal cottages offer a small, intimate environment that provides 24-hour care in a secure and comfortable setting. Our cottages are designed to create a small residential home, with trained staff with a special emphasis on memory care*, to best serve our residents. Within each of these cottages are six private residential suites nestled around inviting spaces that are shared among all cottage residents, including a kitchen, a large living room and an activities area, where residents gather to socialize. However, within the privacy of their own apartments, residents receive a personalized plan of care specifically catered to meet their needs and desires.
Residents of the Family Care Homes also enjoy a variety of services that make life more convenient, including:
- Weekly housekeeping and laundry services
- Three meals a day
- Medication administration
- Transportation
- Personal care, including bathing and dressing

Should the time come when you need additional services, Quail Haven Village’s continued care structure means you will not have to leave your community to receive assisted care. These residences are designed specifically to suit those needs, providing all residents with considerable peace of mind.
Rehabilitation
A physical rehabilitation center conveniently located on the campus of Quail Haven Village in Pinehurst, The Inn, offers short-stay rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, long-term care, respite care and hospice. Residents of the Quail Haven community, as well as the greater Moore County area, have access to the services of The Inn. Patients at The Inn are greeted by a clinical team whose members develop a focused treatment plan designed to help them regain skills and decrease the chance of hospital readmission. Physical, occupational and speech therapists work with patients to help them regain their prior level of function, and additional medical services address secondary conditions for a complete treatment plan.
The Inn at Quail Haven is proud to be one of five facilities in North Carolina to have a specialized piece of equipment, the SciFit Function C3, which supports the rehabilitation of knee and lower back conditions. The Function C3 allows therapists to address knee extension and core flection, using visual biofeedback to help patients control movements for the desired range of motion and to treat balance issues.
Enhanced therapy services at The Inn include diathermy to decrease pain, e-stimulation to support improved joint movement and muscle strength, and vital stimulation to promote better swallowing. Patients who engage in these enhanced services have a more positive experience during their regular therapy sessions.
Planning a safe discharge is paramount for patients to successfully transition back to their prior place of residence.

Our Pre-Registration Program makes it easy to plan the next steps for recovery following an elective surgery. Our Admissions Office requests a surgery date, insurance information, completes the admission paperwork and confirms your room reservation.

Skilled Nursing
In addition to the personal care and support residents may need, The Inn at Quail Haven Village provides health and skilled nursing care for residents. Members of our professional staff are well trained in serving individuals with congestive heart failure, pulmonary obstruction and other medical conditions that may challenge our residents. Our staff has an excellent reputation within the Pinehurst community for their care and dedication to our residents.
Home Care
The Home Care solution of Quail Haven Village allows you to stay in your own home while receiving the care you need from a licensed team of caregivers.
Services are custom tailored to ensure you receive the assistance you need, while allowing you to remain as independent as possible. Home Care services range from medication management to personal care assistance, including making your bed, doing your laundry, and helping you bathe and dress.
Many of our residents have found that the availability of these services allows them to remain in independent living longer, enhancing their quality of life. For those who need a greater level of assistance, our team will provide comprehensive care services that cater to each individual’s needs.
Our Home Care services are available six days a week, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
