Memorial Day Patriotic Wreaths!

The independent living ladies kicked off our Memorial Day celebrations by decorating patriotic-themed wreaths. We were so lucky to have so many staff members come and assist during our afternoon of crafting. You might not know, some of our residents are experts in wreath-making. It was a beautiful process to watch.
Even though they all started with the same materials, no two finished wreaths looked the same. Stay tuned for our Memorial Day centered events happening this week!
Per our COVID-19 protocol, fully vaccinated residents are not required to wear masks.

Yesterday the independent residents attended their first “Tech Thursday”. This event was led by our very own IT Specialist, Will. Learning tips and tricks , as well as how to avoid scammers. It was very interesting , not to mention helpful. Afterwards, they were given an opportunity to ask any questions about their personal technology.

What better way to start out a Friday than with some fresh spring air and beautiful flowers! Our new walking group called the “Walkie Talkies” met this morning to start the day off right with some exercise and fellowship.

Monday afternoons some of the Quail Haven independent living residents compete in a friendly game of cornhole. As one might expect, each week the game gets a little more competitive. Their practice is perfecting their game!
